Data and API license

1. The license

AI Rate Card is for looking and choosing, not for bulk copying. A model's, offer's or seller's own card — as published on the site, through the API (https://airatecard.com/v1) or the MCP server — may be used and quoted under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0), including for commercial use, with a link to that card.

This does not cover the catalog or its price history as a whole: no bulk copying, scraping or redistribution of the dataset, through the site's pages, the API, or any other means, beyond the filtered downloads and the API limits described in the documentation (/docs#export, /docs#api). The prices themselves are facts published by the providers; what is licensed is our collection, structure, normalisation and citation of them, one card at a time.

2. How to give credit

Name AI Rate Card as the source and link to the page of the model, offer or seller you used, for example: "Source: AI Rate Card (airatecard.com), checked 2026-10-01". Every card and API answer carries a ready "cite" line and the date the price was checked. Do not suggest that we endorse you or your use.

3. The API

• Access levels: without an account, with a free account (Free) or with Pro. What each gets - downloads, API rows a day, price history - is published at https://airatecard.com/docs#levels and https://airatecard.com/pro. Downloads (the Download button, /export) are for signed-in visitors only. One person or company holds one account: spreading the limits over several accounts or keys is not allowed.
• Reading the catalog through the API is free, page by page: lists answer at most 50 rows a page, and the analytics endpoints (https://airatecard.com/v1/analytics/cheapest, /dearest, /median) answer the cheapest, dearest and median current price of a task directly, without paging through the whole catalog. Limits are published on the Connect page; requests over the limit get the answer 429.
• A key is needed for higher limits and for the provider API. Keep your key secret; you are responsible for requests made with it. We may revoke a key that breaks these terms.
• There is no bulk export of the catalog or its price history, through the API or otherwise (section 1). Do not get round the limits with several keys, by collecting the HTML pages instead, or by paging deep enough to reconstruct the whole dataset.

4. No warranty

The data is provided "as is", without any warranty, as described in the Terms of use. Prices can be wrong or out of date. Always check the provider's own page before relying on a price, and show your users the date the price was checked.

5. Names and logos

The license does not cover the names, logos and trademarks of models, companies and products, nor the pictures and texts uploaded by providers. These belong to their owners.

6. Changes and contact

We may change the API and its limits; breaking changes get a new version in the path. Questions: hello@airatecard.com.
