GPT-6 API pricing: every provider compared

Updated Nov 4, 2026

GPT-6 is not one price. OpenAI sells four models of the family, and each of them is resold by twenty-odd providers: clouds (Azure, Amazon Bedrock), routers and aggregators. The list price is the same at most of them, but not at all: regional endpoints cost more, batch jobs cost less, and a few resellers undercut OpenAI. The tables below are rebuilt from today's prices on every page view.

The family at a glance

On 15 October 2026 the typical (median) price per 1 million tokens, input / output, was:

GPT-6.1 Sol: every seller today

Why the same model costs differently

  1. Batch. A "Batch" offer answers within hours instead of seconds and costs about half. Good for overnight processing, useless for a chat.
  2. Region. An EU or US data-residency endpoint usually costs 10-20% more than the global one. You pay for where the data is processed.
  3. Fast / priority. "Fast" endpoints cost about double for lower latency.
  4. Resellers' own margins. Most routers pass the list price through; some add a few percent, a few sell below it (their own discounts or prepaid credits). Check the card: every price links to the seller's own page and shows when we last checked it.

What it costs for your workload

Price per token is only half the answer: a chat resends its history every turn, so input usually dominates the bill. Enter your monthly input and output on the models page or use the cost calculator to see what each seller would charge you a month.

Prices change; a number in a table above is today's. The history of each price is on its card.
